Botanical Garden of Medellin:
It is a botanical garden of about 13.2 hectares. It has an enclosure for events called the Orquideorama, an architectural place for the exhibition of flowers. The Garden has the condition of being a center of culture and environmental and botanical education, of enormous floristic richness, and houses more than 1,000 living species and 4,500 individuals.
Nowadays, it has become a monument to nature, also transformed in 2007 into an architectural jewel. Given the importance they have acquired over the years, natural resources and ecology, today is renovated and modernized, is part of the set of urban facilities in the north of the city along with the North Park, the University Station , the Planetarium, the Explora Park and the Los Deseos Park, and this is how, with the slow pace of the decades, it has become one of the main tourist attractions in the region. This garden has different living collections such as a tropical forest, a garden of plamas, a desert garden, an orchid garden, a medicinal garden, an azalea patio, vertical gardens, restaurants in the middle of nature and a labyrinth of shrubbery.

Museum of Antioquia:
The Museum of Antioquia is one of the most important museums in Medellin, and one of the best known in Colombia. It was the first founded in the department of Antioquia, the second in the country. His collections rest in the heart of Medellín, in front of Plaza Botero, near the Estación Berrío subway station. The museum has seventeen permanent exhibition halls. From representations about the pre-Hispanic era and art of current centuries to sculptures made by native artists of these lands.
Museum of Modern Art of Medellín:
Dedicated to research, conservation and dissemination in the fields of modern and contemporary art, as well as to the cultural development of the city. It was founded in 1978. It is popularly known as "The MAMM". Your stay includes guided tours, artistic workshops, mobile museum, permanent and traveling exhibitions, conferences and seminars, exhibitions of plastic arts, architecture and design, film and video.
In Medellin there are many parks, like the Barefoot Park, Arvi Park, Explora Park and many others.
Arvi Park:
Ecoturisms park with various trails, a food marke, a gondola and adventure sports. Located in northeastern Medellin. Give to it´s visitors the possibility to camp in its surroundings.
Explora Park:
This is an interactive museum for the appropiation and dissemination of science and technology, with public squares that houses more than 300 interactive experiences, an auditorium for 3D projections, a Children´s Room, temporary exhibition rooms and the Aquarium of fresh water Largest in Latin America (which recreates two ecosystems at risk: tropical rain forest and coral reefs).
The Barefoot Park:
This park has an area of sand, fountains and green area with gardens, as well as an interactive science museum. In this park you can have fun playing with different water sources in which you can take a fun bath while you run though them.
